Positive Risk Management is the starting point for consultancy engagements. This means we own the risk associated with work. Living with risk means understanding where the danger is and what we need to do to stay safe and well. Positive Risk Management means getting on with normal operations and...

  • making sure the business works optimally

  • the people working there are safe and well

  • locating responsibility for doing things right with the person on the job and their manager

  • solutions to workplace safety challenges in existing best practice.

Experience of projects in Ireland and across Europe informs his approach to training engagements. He was part of the team that put together the first DCU certificate and diploma programs in occupational health and safety and presented on nationwide seminar programs detailing the implications of new safety legislation. He has also trained on the LQSP behaviour based safety program.

Registered Safety Practitioner, Chartered member of IOSH, IOSH ‘Managing Safely’ program lead, Fellow of the Irish Institute of Training and Development, Associate member of the Institute of Bankers.
